Community Pastor
Community Pastor
Former Estate Agent and Carpenter Ian, retrained for the Ministry in 1996 at Moorlands College. During that time Ian had several work based placements one of which was five weeks in Hawaii. “What we experienced there changed our lives, forever. Church was community....the community was....church.”
After serving for seven years as Associate Pastor at Eastleigh Baptist Church Ian felt a nudge from God to become even more involved in the community and set up New Hope Hampshire. Under the New Hope banner Ian works in the community, sharing the truth that God loves us all and longs to be involved in our daily lives. From school assemblies to funeral services, mens events to film clubs for youngsters Ian works to share the Good News in a relevant and engaging way.
Ian is also a Street Pastor and School Pastor, Chair of the Residents Association where he lives, Community Governor at a local school, takes assemblies, runs New Hope hampshire, is heavily involved in numerous local projects and on several local action committees....his dream.....to own a Split Screen camper van!
